The research was performed by UC San Diego’s nanoengineers in collaboration with LG Energy Solution researchers.

Stretchable fuel cells are a new invention that may solve your battery problems. It works by extracting energy from human sweat, which can then be used to power Bluetooth radios and LEDs. Researchers developed a biofuel cells with flexible membranes that can be attached to custom-made circuit boards. The device could even be used to power an LED while stationary biking. Nanogenerators

Georgia Tech researchers have developed a new type of battery called a "nanogenerator". The new technology makes use of the triboelectric force to generate electricity.
